ReplyDeleteHey ladies! When you walk into Forever Memories, you immediately understand their philosophy, "Where Scrapbooking Is A Work of Heart". Except, it's not just scrapbooking! It's everything they do! It's not just a store with stuff to sell. It's a true "family" atmophere where Debbie encourages people to come, pull up a chair and just hang out. I have experienced some of the best female comradery during classes, Creative Club or just visits in Debbie's creative area! There are truly a wonderful group of ladies who hang out there! We create and solve all of the world's problems at the same time!
ReplyDeleteI always thoroughly enjoy everyone who comes to the free Technique Thursdays sessions! How many of us have seen something at a store that has peaked our curiousity but for whatever reason, we didn't ask how to use it. Or even worse, how many of us have purchased products and then they sit unopened in our craft rooms because we don't know how to use them?? That is why we started Technique Thursdays! Our whole purpose for them is to help you understand and explore how the products work and what techniques I have found to be the most successful in combining all of the different mediums. Then we WANT you to experiment with the techniques for yourself while at the free session. If you are like me, once you understand the basics, you can really begin to let your creativity flow. Thanks to Debbie for giving me the opportunity to share what I know in this type of informal setting. It has truly been a blessing for me to meet so many wonderful ladies!
